Hapless Studios
Last updated 20 August 2026. These cover hapless.studio and the Town Wiki.
Read the wiki freely. If you write for it, you keep credit for your work but you give us permission to keep using it on the wiki, and you promise it is your own writing.
Editor access is a trust role. It can be taken away. Do not vandalise, do not copy other people's work, and follow the rules in our Discord.
This is the official community wiki for Town, Town Debug, and SIPHON. It is written by volunteers, it can be wrong, and it is not the games themselves.
By using hapless.studio or the Town Wiki you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you log in, contribute, or take a staff role, you are agreeing to them in full.
Who "we" means here. We are the Town Wiki team. We run this website and the Town Wiki Discord server as the official community wiki for Town, Town Debug, and SIPHON, endorsed by Hapless Studios and its owner. We do not make or operate the games, and we do not run the main Hapless Studios Discord server. These terms cover the wiki and this website only.
We may update these terms. If we change something meaningful we will update the date above and announce it in the Discord. Carrying on using the site after that means you accept the change.
Anyone can read the wiki. To log in you need a Discord account, which means you must be at least 13, or older where your country requires it. Editing is limited to people we have given the editor role to.
You keep ownership of what you contribute. Nothing here takes your work away from you.
By submitting a page, an edit, an image, or any other content to the wiki, you grant the Town Wiki team a permanent, worldwide, royalty free licence to store it, display it, edit it, translate it, and build on it, for the purpose of running the Town Wiki. That licence extends to Hapless Studios so they can use wiki material in connection with their games. You also allow other contributors to edit and build on what you wrote, which is how a wiki works.
This licence continues even if you later stop contributing or lose editor access. That is deliberate: pages are built by many people over time, and the wiki could not survive if any single contributor could pull their sentences out of an article years later.
When you contribute, you confirm that:
We can edit, revert, hide, or delete any contribution, at any time, for any reason. Usually that is because something is inaccurate, copied, or breaks the rules. We are not obliged to keep any particular page or version online.
Editor, Wiki Manager, and moderator roles are given on trust and are not owned by the person holding them. They can be removed at any time, with or without explanation, including if contributions are inaccurate, copied, or repeatedly need correcting, or if the Discord rules are broken.
Depending on settings, contributions may need approval from a Wiki Manager before they appear publicly. Submitting something does not guarantee it will be published.
Do not:
Our Discord server rules apply alongside these terms. Breaking either can cost you site access, Discord access, or both.
The Hapless Studios name, logo, and branding, and the games Town, Town Debug, and SIPHON, belong to Hapless Studios, not to the wiki team. We use them with permission as the official wiki. Contributing here does not give you any right to use that branding elsewhere.
The design and layout of this site, and the wiki as a collected work, are ours to run and maintain. Individual contributions stay with the people who wrote them, under the licence in section 3.
Do not present yourself as speaking for Hapless Studios or for the wiki team unless you hold a staff role and are doing so in that capacity.
Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation. Neither this wiki nor Hapless Studios is endorsed by or affiliated with Roblox Corporation.
The wiki is maintained by community volunteers. We try hard to keep it correct, but it can be out of date or simply wrong, especially right after a game update. Being the official wiki does not make it an official statement from Hapless Studios about how the games work. The games themselves, and anything Hapless Studios says directly, are always the final word.
The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will always be available, error free, or accurate. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or relying on anything in it.
The site links to Discord, Roblox, and occasionally other sites. We do not control those and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
We can suspend or remove your access to the site, your editor role, or your Discord membership at any time if you break these terms or the Discord rules. You can stop using the site whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
Questions about these terms, copyright concerns, or anything else, open a ticket in our wiki Discord server. If you believe something on the wiki infringes your copyright, tell us there with a link to the page and we will look at it promptly.
